El Montañes in Antigua, Guatemala

El Montanes wasn't really my idea of a hostel, more like a hotel. But the sheets and bathroom were clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff was quite accommodating. It's a bit off the beaten path from central Antigua, so it's quiet and has a nice front garden. There were no other guests while we were there, but it's a small place so you could probably get to know fellow travelers quite easily. My only recommendation is make sure you bring exact change!
