Hostel Ospitalia del Mare in Cinque Terre, Italy

I highly recommend this hostel to hikers, beach lovers, and anyone visiting the Cinque Terre region. The 2.5 hour hike from Levanto (where the hotel is situated) to the Cinque Terre is actually more stunning (and significantly less crowded) than the more famous Cinque Terre trail. Also, while the Cinque Terre towns are overrun with international tourists, the tourists in Levanto are mostly Italian, making the town feel more "authentic."
