Hostel El Español in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay

This is a cute little hostel. It's close to the main street, the bus station, and a short walk to the historic center. Others have commented about the security being laxed, in that anyone can walk in...and while it's true that it has an open air vibe, it's still very secure. It's not the kind of place where you worry about getting robbed, just take normal precautions and put down a deposit for a locker key. Lisa, from USA ~ 2nd Mar 2009
