HI- Los Angeles South Bay can be found in Angel's Gate Park- the hostel has panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island and features spectacular sunsets. The hostel is seasonal and is open mid June to mid September.
The hostel offers private, semi-private, and dorm rooms - There is self-service kitchen, dining room, reading room and television room which are all ideal places to catch up with friends and get to know your fellow travellers. The hostel's tide pool is open daily and the perfect place to relax.
There is an internet kiosk available so that you will never feel out of touch with those from home.
Laundry facilities are available along with Free on-site parking is available. City bed tax is not included.

Hostel is great if you need a couple of days rest, but it's useless if you want to see LA. It took me about four hours and four buses to get from the Greyhound Station to the hostel. Staff is not very friendly. The view is beautiful! Frederike, from Netherlands ~ 2nd Sep 2009
