nice place where you can chill, make your own asado, go swimming before your breakfast (which is actually really good, with fruits, etc), get good informations by the host. We just missed a twin bedroom, where we could have stayed as a couple. Thats actually what we had booked. Sinja, from Germany ~ 23rd Apr 2009

La Balconada was delightful. It is located right on the beach, and within easy walking distance to stores and the heart of town. The hostel is clean and modern and full of natural light and wooden decks. It is also a small hostel, which gave it an exceptionally chill, relaxed, homey feeling. The staff was great- treated the guests like guests in their home. I ended up staying many days longer than I was planning because La Balconada was so inviting. Highly recommended!
