Backpackers In Paradise in Surfers Paradise, Australia

We booked a 4 bed dorm and got put in a 10 bed dorm!! Be booked in advance and the girl did not let us know until we paid for until we discovered ourselves... The door was open, much noise from the outside, SO HOT in the room. And 14 people shared the same bathroom and ONE toilet! Unapropriate! No public toilets. Next day we got the 4 dorm, still very hot even w/the fan and noisy beds and surroudings. And the sinc was clogged... Stine Marlene, from Norway ~ 19th Nov 2009

The worst hostel I stayed in by far. Very dirty! Matrasses are dirty and as thin as paper, one shower and toilet per room of 12 and they are also in the same bathroom! So expect waiting 1,5 hour in the morning and in the evening. Ridiculous alcohol (none allowed) rules that are only intent for you to go to their bar which is expensive. There are so many signs with rules and other agressive statements against the guests it makes you feel like a prisoner instead of a PAYING guest! I can go o Ronald, from Netherlands ~ 1st Dec 2008
