Beijing Far East hotel was established in 1939, is one of the oldest hotels in the hospitality industry. In April 2001, the International Youth Hostel start operation and became one of the earliest members to the International Youth Hostel Association in Beijing even in China. After that, far east hotel has a hostel part attached.

Far East Hotel is located in QianMen area which is the center of the city,and within walking distance to many sightseeing spots such as Tian An Men suare,qian Men & Da Zha Lan pedestrian street,the celebrity JiXiaoLan former dwellings, Liulichang culture street, Temple of Heaven…etc.You can take a traditional rickshaw or a self-guided map tour to explore the area. a kindly reminder is to bring passport with you for checking in the hostel. the check out time is 12:00pm at noon. Yha membership card is only acceptable when booking dorm rooms or courtyard rooms, by which guest can get 10% off on the price.

Interesting neighborhood, 10 minutes' walk away from the alleyways to Tian'anmen Square, Qianmen Business Centre and Forbidden City. The well- known Liu Li Chang Cultural Street is only 5 minutes walk. a special price will be offered during off season before 31st March 2010 for individual guest and groups.
