Marken Gjestehus is centrally located and reasonably priced guesthouse, for travellers who want to spend their money on other things than sleeping!

IMPORTANT: If you arrive after the closing hour please contact the reception for appointment. (Check in after closing hours is only possible with your own credit card, which we code as a key card)
Please note that bed linen and towel is not included. This can be rentet with us, or you can use your own. Sleeping bags are not permitted. Please also note our opening hours: 1st October to 31st March: 09.30 to 16.30 (9.30 am to 4.30 pm) Apirl and September: 09.00 to 21.00 (9 am to 9pm). 1st of May to 31st of August: 09.00 to 23.00 (9 am to 11 pm). Arrivals after hours is not a problem. However this must be arranged directly with us in advance.

The hostel provided a comfortable stay during my trip in Bergen. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and comfortable, even though I would have preferred the bed to be a little more comfortable. Overall it was a nice experience and I would surely stay with them if I plan to visit Bergen again!! Vijesh, from India ~ 31st May 2012
