Hostel am Friedrichshain in Berlin, Deutschland

Upon our arrival, we had to send the hostel owner a text message to let her know we would be arriving. It wasn\'t until we had almost reached the hostel, that we were called by the owner. She told us in German that we had to stay in another hostel for the night, and that we had to go to another S Bahn station. Luckily I used to live in Berlin and therefore know the city and speak German, but someone else wouldn\'t have had an idea what was going on and where to go. This hostel is quite far from everything. To get to most interesting places you have to take first the tram and then the U-bahn. The staff was strange and unhelpful and usually not even there. A letter was sent to me to the hostel\'s address I got it only after I had asked for it, and found out they had already OPENED it, even if my name was clearly on the envelope...
