Casa Bellavista Hostel is located in a renovated colonial house right off the Plaza del Chorro de Quevedoone of the oldest and most historical sectors in the heart of the La Candelaria neighborhood, Our mission is to give backpackers and travelers with a clean, safe, comfortable and fun place to sleep, kickback after a day discovering Colombia, and meet people from around the world.
Casa Bellavista offers lots of tourist information and activities around the city, such as bike tours, party buses with other hostels and ecological hikes in the mountains around Bogota. And for those days/nights in the hostel, you can relax with a book and take in the view from our sun room, take a free salsa class in our bar/activities room, or cook your own meal from one of the recipes our guests leave on the kitchen wall. Dont forget to step outside the hostel on a weekend and catch some live music in the plaza!
We offer medium-sized and small dormitory style rooms with private or shared bathrooms, as well as private rooms. All our beds have new mattresses and lots of blankets to keep away the Bogota cold. Breakfast is included with your stay!

From the International Airport El Dorado*.
Cross the street and catch the bus number 299 Germania Centro. Ask the driver to tell you to get off at the round-about at Calle 19 with Carrera 3rd. From there, ask anyone for the Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo (its well-known). Casa Bellavista is house with graffitis right off the plaza at the entrance to Callejon del Embudo and the second house its a one block from the first one (you can arrive to the first one and then we can go with you to the other hostel). From the Central Bus terminal*
Leave the terminal and catch the bus number C-23 Moralba Germania. Ask the driver to tell you to get off at Carrera 4 with Calle 13. Then walk two blocks up Calle 13 ( towards the mountains) until you reach Carrera 2 (Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo). From the Transmilenio.
Get to the station Las Aguas or Museo del Oro and go to Avenida Jimenez with Carrera 4th. Then, walk southon Carrera 4th until you reach the corner with Calle 13. Then walk up two blocks up Calle 13 (towards the mountains) until you reach Carrera 2 (Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo). Casa Bellavista is a blue house with graffitis right off the plaza at the entrance to Callejon del Embudo. *Currently, the only public transportation from the bus terminal and airport are buses and taxis. The buses can be difficult to use unless you are familiar with Bogota, so we recommend you take an official airport/terminal taxi either directly to the hostel (ask the driver to take you to El Choro de Quevedo, we are the pink house right off the plaza) OR to the Transmilenio (nearest stop is Ricaurte). At Ricaurte, take a J line to the Museo de Oro or Las Aguas stop.
