Platypus in Bogota, Kolumbien

The Platypus is located near the center of Bogota in the historic La Candelaria district (see the maps page for directions). The area is noted for its classic architecture, and the hotel is within walking distance of many museums, landmarks, restaurants and bars.

Platypus was the first hostel in Bogota.
It has been sucefully running for 15 years.
Great place to make friends and organize trips around Colombia.

The Platypus offers both dorm rooms and private rooms. There is a shared kitchen with free coffee, a book exchange, and plenty of lounging space for hanging out with fellow travelers. Internet access is available in the office and wi-fi is available in the lounge if you bring your laptop.
