***From Dublin Airport:
When you arrive at Dublin airport arrivals hall (terminal 1 or 2) various buses are located outside the main arrival hall doors.
Airlink (747) - The Airlink is an express bus into the city centre. It runs from 06.00-23.30 Mon-Sat and 7.00-23.20 on Sundays and goes approximately every 15 mins. The price is €6.00 for a single, €10 for return, €3.00 for under 16s and €5 return for under 16s. Once you’re on the bus the stop you are looking for is Gardiner Street – ask the driver to let you know when the bus has arrived here and Abrahams is right across the street!
16 – If you want a cheaper option than the Airlink, you can take the regular Dublin bus, number 16, which leaves from outside the terminal 1 arrivals hall. The bus runs from 6.50–23.10 on Mon – Sat and 7.40–22.20 on Sundays.
The fare is €3.30 and you must have exact change for the driver and you cannot pay with notes; coins only. Get off the bus at O’Connell Street (Just look out for the spire!) and Abrahams is just a 7 min walk from the stop.
Aircoach – The Aircoach is another express bus from the airport which leaves from both terminals into the city centre. It’s a little more expensive (€7 single, €12 return), but it runs 24 hours a day. There are ticket stands outside the terminals. Get off the bus at O’Connell Street/The Gresham Hotel (stops are announced on the bus).
Taxi – A taxi from the airport will be roughly between €25-€30 depending on the time of day and the traffic.
***From Connolly Train Station or Busaras (Central Bus Station):
If you're arriving at Busaras or Connolly Station, Abrahams Hostel is a two-minute walk.
On Foot - Exiting Busaras on to Amiens Street you will see Connolly Station, the central bus station. From Connolly Station, walk up Talbot Street and towards O'Connell Street or the Spire, and the first main crossroad is Gardiner Street. Turn right here and Abrahams Hostel is located 50 yards up on the right hand side.
***From Heuston Train Station:
Tram (LUAS) – If you’re arriving in to Dublin by train into Heuston station, probably the easiest way to get to the hostel is to take a left when you exit the station and walk to the Heuston stop on the Luas (tram) line. You can buy your ticket from the machines on the platform. Take the Luas until the Busáras stop. The names of the stops are well signposted. Once you get off the Luas, it’s a quick 4 min walk, following the directions above.
***From Ferry Ports:
Dublin Port – Arriving into Dublin port with Irish ferries you can take the express bus which brings you to Busáras, the main bus station. From there you can walk to Abrahams in 4 min following the directions above.
Dun Laoghaire – If you’re arriving by boat into Dun Laoghaire, you can walk to the Dun Laoghaire DART (train) station and buy a ticket to Connolly station at the ticket desk. The train will take about 25-30 mins. Once you get off at Connolly you can follow the directions above.
