Opened in July 2003, our hostel was designed from the outset to be one of the best hostels in Scotland. The resulting conversion is a blend of modern facilities and quality fittings of a modern budget hotel, but with all the welcome, friendliness and atmosphere you'd expect from a Brodies hostel.
Rated at three stars and perfectly located on Edinburgh's famous and historic Royal Mile, we've a variety of smaller room styles to suit all types of traveller, including small and large dorms and a variety of double, triple and family rooms.
What's more, our great beds, small size, no-smoking policy, and ban on stag and hen-night groups means you'll most likely get the best night's sleep of any hostel in town. Whether it's for a weekend or a week-long stay this is the perfect choice for maximum enjoyment of your trip to Edinburgh.

We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Please note however that under no circumstances do we accept stag nights, hen nights, all-male groups, or other celebratory groups where there is a strong likelihood of disruption to our other guests because of excessive drinking and/or 'laddish behaviour' by members of the group.
