Welcome to Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel, SYHA, Hostelling Scotland's 5-star Hostel.

Centrally located, within walking distance of most of the City's tourist attractions, this stylish Hostel is well equipped to suit the needs of single travellers, families and groups.

Our rooms are safe, accessible only with a keycard, contemporary, and some are accessible to the disabled. Lockers are available in each room. Fresh, clean bed linen is included and our rooms are serviced daily. Plus, all our rooms are en-suite, but we also provide single sex toilet/shower facilities on each floor.

At Edinburgh Central you will find a licensed Bistro serving snacks, sweets and hot meals. We offer affordable contemporary and classic dishes. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 10 am and you have a choice of a light start into the day with Continental Breakfast or a hearty Full Scottish Breakfast.

Our Bistro area has plasma TV's, internet access, WI-FI covareage, so where better to spend an hour or 2 enjoying a few drinks, meeting friends and making new ones!

As with all SYHA hostels, a self-catering kitchen & dining area are provided for guests who wish to cook their own meals or those travelling on a limited budget. All the latest appliances including cookers and fridges as well as cookware, crockery and cutlery are available. Everything you will need to enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Other facilities in the Hostel include a laundry and drying machines. You can store your luggage in our safe coin lockers in the lobby from 20p per hour. And don't worry if you forget to pack your towel! You can rent one from our Reception, for only �1! Hair dryers and games are available at reception as well.

With first class customer service and a friendly atmosphere - Edinburgh Central is an experience not to be missed. We are open 24 hrs, so no curfew.
