International Hostel Khaosan Fukuoka is a friendly, inexpensive hostel in Fukuoka City, Japan. A member of the Khaosan hostel group, we have comfortable dormitories and private rooms equipped with air conditioning and wireless internet access. Linen is provided.
Hostel facilities include a guest kitchen, a common room with a DVD library, laundry and luggage storage before check-in/after check-out. We have multi-lingual staff with good English.
We are located just a 10 minute-walk from JR Hakata station
Hostel policies:
- Reception is open 08:00-21:00. We do not have a curfew.
- Check-in is between 15:00 and 21:00; check-out is 11:00. Please confirm your arrival time in advance and let us know if you will be arriving late, we will manage you for late check in.
- Prices include tax. Payment of balance in cash on arrival.
- Age restriction: no children under 10 years old.

The dorm I stayed in was clean. There were small lockers in the room to store valuables. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathrooms were spacious and stocked with shampoo/body wash. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The hostel itself is about a 15 minute walk from Hakata station, and right next to a Hotto Motto and a Lawson if you need a quick snack.
