Heilala Holiday Lodge in Ha'atafu Beach, Tonga

ATTENTION: OUR LODGE HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO HA\'ATAFU BEACH/ KANOKUPOLU ON THE WEST COAST OF TONGATAPU AND IS NO LONGER OPERATING AT TOFOA VILLAGE NEAR NUKU\'ALOFA.

The new and improved Heilala Holiday Lodge is now located on the stunning sandy beaches of Haʻatafu and Kanokupolu, with the most picturous sunsets, the best surfing on the main island, great snorkelling and a beautiful sandy beach that stretches over a kilometer long and from where you can spot Tonga's famous humpback whales in season.

Our Standard room (with shared bathroom access) is our most economical option and ideal for those who have to stretch the travel budget. The room consists of a either a double or two single beds and all windows are fitted with mosquito screens. In-room amenities include a tabletop fan, a wash basin and a chair.

The Tongan fale (not available through this site) is the more economised fale version and is most popular with those who need or prefer the en-suite shower & toilet but can forgo most other amenities that are included in the Superior fale. This fale is equipped with either one double or two single beds, has mosquito screens on all windows and also comes with a private veranda & hammock. Extra in-room amenities include a ceiling fan and two chairs.

The Superior fale (not available through this site) has been our most popular option in the past years. It is a private bungalow (made for comfort) with en-suite shower & toilet, a veranda with hammock and mosquito screens on all windows. It comes with a Queen size bed, a Single bed as well as a small fridge, ceiling fan, table with two chairs, coffee/ tea facilities and more. In addition, the Superior fale is located within wifi range and can also be equipped with an optional air-condition unit.

For the privacy and safety of all Guests, our Lodge has a House Guests only policy! There is however an area that guests can meet with visitors at the Restaurant (this meeting area is available on prior arrangement and between the hours of 8am and 6pm).
