Ras Hashita in Hatseva, Israel

Just 5 km from Hatzeva, Rash Hasita offers rustic accommodation in tents in the middle of the Arava Desert. The Gidron Stream is about a 10-minute drive away.

This large, isolated complex is surrounded by palm trees and desert. All tent accommodation share an outdoor bathroom. The large public tent is decorated with mats, low tables, mattresses and hammocks. The shared kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer.

At night you can light your own fire, which can even serve as a barbecue.

To reach the complex, you can take a bus from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa or Eilat. All buses stop at the Hatzeva Junction, where you will find a free shuttle to Rash Hasita. A local guide can organise hiking trips in the desert.
