Istanbul Harmony Hostel is established as the largest capacity dorm hostel in Turkey.
We have 100 beds and each dorm has its own windows.
Some of our dorm rooms have got a private shower and they all have private bathrooms.
All the rooms have a wireless internet connection that is free and unlimited.
Our hostel has got one of the best terraces for having fun and smoking sheesha, the traditional water pipe with your friends. It has has a wonderful view overlooking the famous golden horn of istanbul.

Our hostel have no smoking rooms but we have smoking areas.
We offer a quiet, intimate and relaxing atmosphere for those who want to escape from the hectic peace of istanbul at the end of the day.
There is much delight in the panoramic views of Asian İstanbul. Our hostel offers comfort,hospitality and our fantastic open air terrace, where you will enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast that´s included.

I stayed three nights in the harmony hostel. Quite contrary to the author of the former post, I felt pretty safe. You can\'t enter the hostel without having to pass by the reception. The guys working there know their guests quite well, so chances are bad that you could just enter the hostel without someone taking notice of. They provide lockers in the room that look quite stable but you will have to bring your own padlock. Valuables can be safely stored at the reception. There is only one room key for 8 girls. The door was left unlocked at night (barely even shut closed because the lock is old) because everyone isn\'t back so someone has to get up to open the door everytime. Rug shop men directly downstairs are sleazy. The shower didn\'t drain \"cleaning\" yourself while standing in dirty water. Staff is very friendly, airport shuttle is great, location is fantastic, rooftop gatherings were fun. I wouldn\'t stay here again. Fun but unsafe.
