We believe that we have the best location for you- Directions from Levanten:
-Walk 2 minutes to the right to get to the most beautiful nature of the city (the Bosphorus)
-Walk 3 minutes to the left to get to the most famous shopping and party street of Istanbul (Istiklal Street)
-The Walk to the Old City for the museums takes about 25 minutes (5 stops by tram)

Our hostel open his doors on 24th July 2010 so we are very new:) To come to Levanten Hostel from Ataturk Airport, you may find your way to Taksim Tunnel.

1) Take the Subway from Ataturk Airport to Aksaray (Last Stop) (1.5 Lira = $1). When you come out of subway cross the main street towards to the Tramline and take the Tram from Yusufpasa Tram Stop (1.5 Lira) to Karakoy Station. From Karakoy you can take historical metro (calls Tunel) to get to the end point of Istiklal street.From there if you will walk up to the istiklal about 150 meters later on the right side you will see street calls Kumbaraci Yokusu. Get in to Kumbaraci yokusu and walk 100 meters down on the right hand you will find Levanten.
2.) Take a Public Bus (1.5 Lira) nearby the Yusufpasa Tram Stop to Taksim Square
than;
Walk into the Istiklal Street and just before end of the istiklal street after the Russian consulate turn left to (Kumbaraci Yokusu) 100 m way down you will see Levanten
on your right side.

3.) Take havas bus from any airport* to Taksim square
( there are 2 airports in Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen airport on the Asian side and Ataturk airport on the European side.
Than again,
Walk in to the Istiklal Street and just before end of the Istiklal Street after the Russian consulate turn left to (Kumbaraci Yokusu) 100 m way down you will see Levanten on your right side.
