Sydney Hostel is located at Sultanahmet, just walking distance away from the blue mosque, two of Istanbul's most famous historical sites. I travelled with my Mum and we had the most amazing time in Istanbul! Thanks to the Hostel Staff, their extraordinary support and friendliness, we had a fantatstic time, enjoyed ourself and relaxed throughout the whole trip. The Staff was very supportive with arranging the transfer back and forth from Airport to Hostel, offered tours and showed us get arounds. Everything in a friendly gesture and never impolite or too pushy. All in all this trip made it to the top of our City trips and we can re Antje, from Germany ~ 26th Apr 2012

The bathroom has some persisting smell (seems to be from the drain) but quite clean overall.The room itself is quite nice and clean with comfy bed and pillows. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and hyper-active. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable. The best part of this hostel is probably the roof top where you can hangout and enjoy the awesome view of the Marmara sea anytime you like. A bit on the pricy side for a hostel, due to its superb location, but still highly recommended Phongsan, from Thailand ~ 10th Nov 2011
