2B Happy Accommodation is the place to stay in Johannesburg for people who like to interact with other travelers and local people, with the opportunity and space to also enjoy their own company.
We pride ourselves in providing comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation. We provide friendly, helpful assistance where your well being and safety take precedence. In addition we set out to create an exceptional experience for our guests.We offer special rates to students, volunteers, church and school groups as well as long-term guests. We can also assist you in joining volunteer groups
The main house consists of the Wild Coast Private and Karoo Private Rooms as well as a 8 bed dorm. Guests of the private rooms share a bathroom, which may not be used by guests in the dorm. Guests in the dorm have use of their own bathroom.
The main house has a lounge, with DSTv, opening onto the stoep (verandah). The lounge has comfortable couches, as well as a fire-place for those cold winter evenings. Next to the lounge is a chill area for those who prefer not to watch TV. The fully equipped kitchen in the main house may be used by private room guests only. Dorm guests use the kitchen in 'The Shed'.
The Shed
The Shed has ample space and houses an office, kitchen, communal lounge with satellite TV and a dining area in one room. There are also board games and a pool table for those looking for more active forms of entertainment.
Stand alone private rooms
Africa Cottage consists of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It has space for three people. African Safari Suite is a very spacious unit for two people with a kitchenette and shower. Together with Africa cottage, this suite is the ideal space for a family.
The African Safari suite is also suitable for a groom and his best men, or bride and her following, to prepare for the wedding. It can also be transformed into a bridal suite.
Our hostel is safe and there is a smoking policy. We are a short distance to major shopping centres, historical museums, easy access to theatres sport stadiums and authentic african restuarants.
Our accomodation ranges from dormitory style to private bedrooms.
