Located inside Kaifeng's old city walls situated next to picturesque Bao Gong Lake, Kaifeng International Youth Hostel will make you feel welcome and part of our family from the moment you arrive.

Kaifeng Hostel was newly opened in Mid 2011. We understand that communication is essential in this industry. All of the staff can speak English and all come from Henan province giving them extensive knowledge of the city and surrounding areas. Therefore we can offer valuable travel and tourist sight information like no other place in Kaifeng, thus assuring you get the most out of your stay in the history rich ancient capital of China, Kaifeng.

As Kaifeng city is flat an easy option is to rent a bicycle (even for those not as fit as others) and ride between attractions giving you more time at each place. Kaifeng's famous nightmarket is about a 10 minute slow walk from the front door of the hostel.

We are not a party hostel, our atmosphere is more of a relaxing home away from home, where after a busy day of sightseeing you can come home and enjoy a nice cold beer in our bar, eat some great food and chat to fellow travelers or relax and watch the latest DVD's.

All our private rooms are equipped with T.V., air-con. kettle, glasses, towel and western toilet ensuite. We offer Singles, Twins, Doubles, Triples and for the more budget minded traveler we have dorm rooms, all of which have a western toilet ensuite.

----------DIRECTIONS----------

We are located just 3km from the main bus and train stations.

When you get to the bus or train station (across the road from each other) please take bus No.9 (1RMB/person) and get off at Huai He stop. We are located close to Bao Gong Lake and Huai He Hospital. The 'get-off' stop is 6 stops from the stations.

The taxi fee should be 7-10rmb from the stations. (5mins to arrive)

If you are approached by someone saying they are from our hostel, it is simply not true and are trying to trick you into going to their Chinese Hotel.
