Lhasa DongCuo International Youth Hostel in Lhasa, China

DONG CUO international youth hostel , the leader's private Dyeing-clothes house of Yellow Hat Sect., new opened in 2005. Also it is the first Tibetan style 2-Star constructional building. The highest youth hostel in the world and the normal member of YHA . It is situated in the busiest street behind the famous Jokhang temple , where is the previous commercial area of the old centre city and nearby of the Potala Palace.

At the hostel, we have Housekeeping Dept. (24-hour hot water, single rooms, double rooms, common two/three/four-bed rooms, korea bed rooms, dormtiory beds etc.); Food & Beverage bar; Travel agency department; Photography club; Ka-jie Bicycle club; Mountain-climbing club; Self-kitchen; Free-laundry service ,Free luggage keep and so on. Else we provide following services: Free-laundry, Book plane & train ticket, Leave message , Travel information , Burn CD/DVD , International telephone bar(IDD), Internet bar, Fax, etc.

Way to our hostel:
1)By air: Take the CAAC bus to the end. Then take a Tricycle or Rig sho (4-5yuan) or taxi(10yuan) to our hostel.
2)By bus: Take bus No.109,79,104,106,103 to the ChongSai kang bus station, then walking 100M to the east is our hostel.
3)By rail: Take the bus (No.89 or No.86) to lhasa city,you can take off nearby of the Potala Palace, then take a taxi (10.00yuan) to our hostl. Else ,about 20.00yuan/per person from train station directly to our hostel.
4)By taxi: In Lhasa city anywhere, only charge 10yuan/5km can take you directly to our hostel.
5)From the Potala Palace: In front of the Potala palace ,that is Beijing road ,walk along to the east ,about 10-minute(1.5km) walk to our hostel.
6)Other way: If you are in Lhasa city ,firstly ,Beijing east road should be found .From the way to east ,at the opposite side of the Town District Government, our hostel will be found. Except that , call us at any time, you will be told the nearest line to the hostel

Tibet is a special place,for foreigners ,TTP and PSB are necessary.and you should only stay in hostel or hotel which can be permmisioned to check in.
we will answer you for any information.What's more ,we also can arrange any kind of tour in Tibet for you.

In our hostel, we provide free laundry service for you,and help you to book train tickets, plane tickets and so on.
