Ampenan is 7 kilometers away from Senggigi. Far enough away from the tourism centre to give athrough sense of Indonesian living these days but close enough to enjoy all the amenities of the tourist resorts.

There is also a small mini market where you can buy small items like soap,toothbrush and paste, toiletpaper,some snacks,cigarettes and water,beer and lemonade.
