Hop on a train and be at London Bridge in 8 minutes, Westminster and the famous Big Ben is only a 30 minute scenic boat ride, enjoying other views of London on the way.
There are many museums and also the Observatory in the area. Take a relaxing walk through the streets of Greenwich and the Royal Park with the boating lake, deer sanctuary and view London from Greenwich Hill. Visit the world's last tea clipper ship, Cutty Sark and many markets selling goods from food to antiques.
If you fancy a livelier scene, there are 52 restaurants and pubs in the area. Greenwich has a great nightlife; with 20,000 students, a great young and vibrant atmosphere is created.
