For travellers looking to share accommodation we have 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-bed shared dorms as well as 12- to 16-bed shared dorms for those looking for an even cheaper option. For those wanting some privacy we also have basic private double, twin and family rooms.
All rooms have shared bathroom facilities, heating and linen.
To ensure you a hassle free and safe stay all floors and rooms have swipe card access, we have 24 hour reception & overnight security staff, CCTV and strict ID polices.
Our bar, The Velvet Underground, has Happy Hour every night from 5pm to 8pm with super cheap drinks and lots of fun events and parties! If you love live music then Hotel Discovery is the place to stay - we'll show you the real Melbourne, with amazing local bands and DJs performing most nights! Please note that any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian. Any guests under 18 must be in a private room.
A one-night cancellation fee applies to any reservation cancelled within 24 hours of arrival.
All guests must provide a passport on arrival.
All credit card or Eftpos transactions will incur a 3% surcharge.
A $10 key deposit is required by each guests on arrival.
All bookings of 11 or more people are considered a group and must book through our groups department as different terms and conditions apply.
Bookings of 4-10 people are required to pay a $100 bond.
