Welcome to the Corkman Irish Pub and hostel newly opened in October 2009 the rooms are freshly decorated and have lots of space, with only 24 beds our motto is \"Quality rather than Quantity\" within 10min walk of everything, from Melbourne CBD to Victoria Market and Melbourne University. An award winning restaurant downstairs with meal deals available Mon to Fri nights. Very quiet location and very safe with swipe card entry and security cameras. Great bar with a live Irish Music Session every Thursday night from 7pm.

The Corkman has a NO Smoking Policy but ash trays are provided outside for smokers. We are situated in a very quiet area off of the main streets and away from most of the noisy city traffic. A leisurly 5min stroll to the famous Lygon Street, Italian district with all it's fantastic restaurants, 10 min walk to the CBD with all it has to offer. Downstairs at the Corkman we have an award winning restaurant with meal deals available from Mon to Fri night, great friendly and helpful staff and the best live Traditional Irish music session every Thursday night from 7pm.
