Ueber Ryokan Meiryu
Ryokan Meiryu is a traditional guest house offering Japanese-style rooms in the centre of Nagoya. All rooms have tatami floor. Air-conditioned. Bathing facilities are shared however, we have gentlemen's bathroom and ladies bathroom individually, and both of them are open for 24 hours.
We enjoy good public transport connections. It is just 4 subway stops to JR Nagoya Station from Kamimaezu Station. We are within 3 mins walk from Exit #3. The journey takes around 15 mins from Nagoya station and around one hour from Chubu Int'l Airport(aka Centrair).
Facilities include free internet access and laundry services. Meals are available and should be booked in advance.

Check-out: until 10:00
Curfew: 22:00 (although the front door is open 24-hours)
Credit cards are accepted (not Maestro).

We enjoyed staying at the hostel very much and the hostel owner was a fantastic help - especially with his very good knowledge of English! Being able to take a hot bath, have a nice sit in a massage chair, use the internet and doing the washing, 24-hour service for all activities was just great!
