Great location, close to the ocean. Nice and very friendly owner. The place is not very clean, the matresses are old and the lockers are not very safe. Sarah, from Belgium ~ 23rd Mar 2013

Awesome hot showers, nice kitchen and the owner is extremely nice. Its right on the beach, and a 150 meters from the best part of the beach. There are comfy hammocks to chill in, and beers for 1,000 colones are about 2 mns away. Loved my stay here. Definately not a party hostel, but more than everything you need in Puerto Viejo. I'm honestly surprised that it is not much busier, being very close to the more popular hostels on the beach. Joseph, from USA ~ 23rd Mar 2013
