The Pop Inn Hostel is a great starting point for you to explore Rome, thanks to our great location; we’re situated in the city centre, directly across from the main train station terminal.

The Terravision shuttle bus from both airports stops right in front of our doorstep. The metro and bus stations are only 50 metres away. However, we’re within walking distance to the night life areas and to all the major historical monuments and museums for the sightseeing tours, so you don’t even need to use public transport!

We’ll provide you with a free city map, discount cards, info and bookings for sightseeing tours as well as advice and directions on how to get to places by walking instead of paying for transportation.

The area is safe and well-lit at night, with shops and markets. The restaurants, pizzerias and bars down the street are open until late, some even until morning. There’s also key-card access and a security video camera-system in the building.

Each room is well taken care of, down to the smallest details, with an array of colours surrounding your beds in a very clean and comfortable environment. All the rooms/dorms are freshly cleaned and the beds made every day.

During the summer some rooms have a fan/ceiling fan, while others are provided with air conditioning free-of-charge.

Hair dryers are in the bathrooms and rooms which have a sink; they’re also available at the reception.

You can enjoy a free, hot, spacious shower 24hrs a day (no coin-operation and no time limit).

We serve a free Italian breakfast all day long (a pastry and a drink); it’s available down in the bar from 5am ‘til midnight. It's never too early or too late to enjoy breakfast! This is really handy in case you have an early departure or if you wake up late.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms/dorms and there’s free computers to use in the common room!

You can enjoy a comfortable common room with books, plasma-screen TV and a selection of movies, music, DVDs, and table and video games.

There’s no curfew and no lock-out! Our reception is open 24hrs so that you can check-in or check-out at anytime.

During your stay you can leave your luggage in your room. We also have free baggage storage, useful before check-in time and/or after check-out time.

There are security lockers for backpacks in the dormitory rooms and smaller ones for valuables at the reception (bring your own padlock!).


Please note that there is a maximum age limit of 35 in the mixed dormitory rooms. If you do not follow this age limit, your booking will be cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded, and if the cancellation is not made in time, you will be charged for the first reserved night. If you contact us about this via email or phone more than 72hrs ahead of your arrival time and there is a relevant bed available in a male or female dorm room we can place you in one of those rooms.

Payment is due in full in cash only upon arrival, please. In order to guarantee your booking, we will preauthorise your credit card with the amount of the first night's reservation. Rates include our taxes. Linen, pillowcases and blankets are also provided free of charge. Towels are included only for private ensuite rooms; otherwise, they're available for rent. Rates do not include the Rome city tourist tax of €2 per person per night. Please include this in your budget calculations. We have a 72hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. No age limit for private rooms.
