Hostel on 3rd is a brand new hostel located in the heart of San Diego: Gaslamp District.

A historic building from 1912 with major renovations completed recently.

It is ideally located just one block from all the bar scene and still in a quiet area when you need a silent night’s sleep.

We have a very big common area where you can meet other people and have great times.

We are very close to all great tourist spots of San Diego like museums, zoo and beaches. We are only two blocks from the Downtown Convention Center.

Check in: 3.00 pm – 2.00 am
Check out: 7.00 am - 12.00 noon

You may cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before arrival without any penalty. Same day cancellations and no-shows will be charged for the first night. We require a valid, government issued ID to check-in. If you are a foreign citizen, you must provide a valid passport to check-in. We do not allow local San Diego County residents to stay at our facility. Our maximum stay is 14 nights within a 365 day period.
