Caveland is nested in an old 18th century winery. We are situated in the heart of Santorini island, just 20 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive from the beautiful and atmospheric capital of the island called Fira Town. Our village is called Karterados and it is one of the most picturesque and traditional villages on the island with real well preserved cave houses, grandmothers sitting in their yards and grandfathers riding their donkeys!
Our complex consists of 8 traditional caves and numerous sea view terraces with a big pool area and gardens. We have a big communal kitchen that you can use for preparation of your own meals, bookshelves if you want to borrow a book and a donation-based coffee corner. Breakfast and wireless internet is included.
Ideal Visit To Santorini Is 3 Nights (Check out our 3 nights special deals!). During your stay we recommend you to take a boat trip to visit our famous Volcano with Hot Springs, explore an archeological site of Akrotiri with a guide, see the famous sunset from Oia or Fira. During the summer months go for a swim at black or red beach and during the off-season months bring your hiking shoes and explore some of the off-beaten paths of the island!

We are located 10 minutes walk from the bus stop in Karterados (Zotos Bakery) which is the second last stop before Fira town or the first stop after Fira. All the busses heading to the South of the island (Perissa, Akrotiri, Kamari) pass this stop and it is really easy to get around.
Bring your driving license with you, it is good to rent a quad bike or a car and see the hidden spots of the island!
If you are arriving late at night/early in the morning, you need to book the bed for that particular night. We will then prepare your room/bed and you will be able to go to your room even if you are arriving very late.

Your booking can be modified or cancelled 24 hours before your arrival. Otherwise we reserve the right to charge the first night to your card.
10% that you pay upon booking your accommodation is non-refundable and cannot be deducted from the final amount in case of shortening of your stay or cancellations.
During the high season, June to September: Your booking can be modified or cancelled 1 day before your arrival. Otherwise we reserve the right to charge your whole stay to your card.

Santorini is during the winter time quiet, but you will still find here plenty of activities. Winter is ideal for hikes, visits to local villages or a volcano cruise. Just ask our staff for recommendations. Ideal visit is 3 days. We keep our doubles and few dorm rooms available also during this time. All the caves have a heating.

One of the BEST hostels I\'ve ever been! So fascinating design of buildings and rooms, also pool and eating area. Despite it has kinda distanced location from the town,still fair enough to go around walking, the hostel itself will give you the extraordinary experience.
