Welcome to hostel Dioklecijan, come and enjoy your stay located in the top center near all the most beautiful sights in Split. (Down town)
Our hostel is the best option for young travellers, backpackers, and couples who want to come and enjoy the
city of Split.
One of the most magnificent indoor market place is next to us. There are a lot of party places in short walking distance where you can have fun. There is non stop shop just opposite the building. You can find post office and drug store just around the corner.
This hostel is in the old city, it has 7 bedrooms on three levels. First level, is one private double ensuite like a studio apartment. Second level, is three rooms, two twin privates and one double private with kitchen (for breakfast only) and bathroom which is shared by all rooms on this level.
Third level, also has three rooms, two twin privates and one double private with kitchen (for breakfast only) and bathroom which shared by all rooms on this floor. All rooms are air conditioned and have satelite tv.
**Please note!
Our privates (triple and twin ensuite) are located just one minute from the hostel in the same street.
Check in 12 am (you can leave your bags earlier)

We stayed with Hostel Dioklecjian twice on our trip to Croatia - 3 nights at the start and 1 night at the end. For the 3 night stay at the start there were 4 of us and stayed in a private apartment with en suite. Clean but basic and small is how I\'d describe it. Good value though. For the 1 night stay there were 5 of us so were put into 2 separate en-suite apartments. These were incredible, high quality fixtures and fittings, practically hotel standard. Our room was in a clean apartment at the vert gate of Diocletian Palace. But was crearly someone else\'s house: we found personal belongings like document, keys and money all around the house. And we found it a bit disturbing, like we were not supposed to stay there.
