We are the number ONE Party Packers in Sydney! The Maze is the cheapest and largest backpacker hostel located in a unique, heritage-listed building right in the HEART of the city!
Everything you are looking for in your visit to Sydney is walking distance from the Maze� Sydney Harbour, with the Harbour Bridge and the Opera house� only a 15 minute walk! And we�re that close to all other wonderful sights Sydney has to offer!

*** Please note that there are no ensuite bathrooms, all bathroom facilities are communal!***
The hotel is an excellent location to all that Sydney city has to offer, just a 15 minute stroll away from Sydney Opera house and Sydney Harbour Bridge, we are round the corner from Darling harbour, Hyde Park and the Chinese garden of friendship.
We are minutes away from the bus and train station so you have the easiest transport to take you to some of Sydney's spectacular beaches such as Bondi, Coogee and Manly.
Maze Backpackers features simple private rooms with shared bathroom facilities.

Having only one person at reception the entire time was a joke. Frequently I had to wait in a long queue for 15 minutes just to ask basic question from the person working. The airport shuttle bus service was very good though. James, from Ireland ~ 9th Feb 2012

I Paid for 2 nights and stayed for 0. The room was not clean and the bed was horrible. I felt unsecure and maybe for a reason, because when i left, i came across into three police. Facilities were dirty. Paula, from Finland ~ 3rd Oct 2011
