Palapas Tulum in Tulum, Mexiko

Dora and Pierre are a great couple. They are very accomodating. They picked us up from the bus station, drove us around so we could familiarize ourselves with the area, and gave us tips for what beaches to go to and where to eat. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was very good in the morning. We felt safe our entire stay. A great hostel for those who dont mind walking a few extra blocks. Stephanie, from USA ~ 7th Mar 2010

Palapas Tulum (aka Tulum Hostel)---Dora and Pierre (and Papa) are fantastic hosts, and staying with them was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip. It was like visiting family (without the stress :>). Their home is simple and spartan, but with all the comforts one needs. There are two available rooms and if filled, they can make other arrangements elsewhere (they helped a group of 6 we dragged from the bus station on New Year’s Eve).
