This is a small Camp owned by the local Bedouins and located inside the Wadi Rum Protected Area. The place is in the middle of the desert, peaceful and quiet, hidden between mountains and a small sand dune, on a high spot from where you have a beautiful view down to the valley.

It would be helpful if you could let us know your arrival time in advance (e-mail, phone call) or call us before heading to Wadi Rum, so that we will know when to expect you and have some one to pick you up from the village Rest House. You can also leave your rental car there in case you have one. From the Wadi Rum village, a four-wheel-drive will take you to the desert camp.
From Aqaba to Wadi Rum, there is a local mini bus usually at 1.00 pm. Sometimes the bus driver can change his timetable so it’s better to check the time few hours (or a day before) before the departure. The cost is about 3 JD and it takes around 1 hour to get to Wadi Rum.
From Petra to Wadi Rum, there is a mini bus at 6:30 am. The cost is about 5 JD and it takes around 1,5 hour to get to Wadi Rum.
From Amman to Wadi Rum, there are no direct buses, so you would have to go first to Petra or Aqaba. From Aqaba/Petra you can take a bus or taxi to Wadi Rum. The driving time between Amman and Wadi Rum, is about 4-5h.

When you arrive to Wadi Rum, we can pick you up either from the Visitor’s Center or better from Wadi Rum Rest House, which is inside the village. Rest House is also a good place to leave a rental car, in case you have one.
