No Smoking on the premises. No lit candles, matches or flames
NO ALCOHOL Marijuana or Mind-altering drugs on the premises
No one shall enter the building under the influence of alcohol or other drugs..
No Pets
Keep Living Areas Clean and Neat
All bags will be stored in lockers or under bed
NO Tipping, Tipping is not necessary.

No clothes, bags or personal items are to be left in public areas which include, chairs, tables,or floor (except under beds). Guest consent for housekeepers and staff to remove these items.

Eating in beds is allowed, however there will be a $15 charge to replace sheets that are stained with food, such as mustard and ketchup.

Guest will immediately, after use clean dishes and cookware and will not take more than 1/4th of the refrigerator space when 4 people are in the dorms with refrigerator.

All trash will be placed in a recycle (glass, plastic, paper (no tissue or paper towels) or trash container.

Quiet Times
No laundry: washing or drying between the hours of 10PM- and 8:30 am Bedding will be returned to the office before checking out..

No loud talking (sound level that can be heard in other rooms after 10:30)

Ceiling Lights in dormitories will be turned of at 11: PM unless all guests are awake and agree

Television sound will be turned off at 11:00 PM. Guests wishing to hear may use earphones.

Guests when using radios, games and other devices, will wear earphones, so as not to disturb others.

If guests do not comply with these guidelines the International has the right deny accommodations at that moment. There is a $50 fine, with immediate payment if a person has an alcoholic beverage in their possession or brings alcoholic beverages into the hostel

By signing this I agree to drug and alcohol testing, when requested and guest must vacate the premises within 15 minutes, will be denied accommodations, forfeit their payments, pay for the drug and alcohol testing kits, , if they do not pass standards for these tests. I agree to an immediate payable 50 fine for bringing alcohol into the hostel or having it in my possession

The accomodations are for mature person that prefer quite conditions. The buildindg is a non-smoking, non aclohol, drug free building, for health and safety reasons.

Pets not allowed. Guests must be in by 12:00 Midnight during the week and 1:am on weekends. Check in after 12:00 am, and check out at 9:45 am unless special arrangments are made.

BY BUS: GOOGLE 'CHINATOWN BUS'
About 5 companies have lowest rates from NY $20 one way (4 hr. 20 minute ride,unless traffic problems) and other areas. Philadelphia, Boston and Baltimore.

Greyhound bus station is some distance from Chinatown.

The drop of locations is in bustling Chinatown and we are a 7-10 minute walk.

By Bus from NY
Drop of in area of Chinatown (7th and H St. NW area).Walk North (up slight hill) on 7th St., Turn right on NY Ave (about 2 blocks). Take 1st left on 6th St. NW. Walk 1 minute to International House of United Tel (1110 6th St. NW) Building with fire escape. There is no sign on building because this is an historical district and signs are not allowed.

From Ronald Regan National Airport.
Take Metro-Yellow line into city (East side of platform) Get off at 'Mount Vernon Square 7th st. Convention Center'. Take escalator to exit.

On reaching street turn right and walk down the hill. Take 1st left on L st. (L St. has boarded up buildings because of future hotel development)l. At frst corner turn left and you will see a townhouse with fire escape # 1110. There are no signs because this is an historical district.


By Air from Dulles International Airport
$60 by Taxi or #6.00 by bus (45 min-1 hour ride either means)

Cheapest way: Take City Bus 'Metro' for $6.00 per person (exact change needed) from red, white and blue sign where buses stop. Bus Stop is a good walk to the right when you exit the terminal.
Get off at last stop L'enfant Plaza.
