Braemar House a restored historic homestead located on the Whanganui River offering quality B&B in the Guest House or excellent YHA accommodation.

The hostel has a no smoking policy inside the complex.
We have wireless and full broadband computer facilities.
For those wishing to be more rustic, there are camping facilities.
An organic garden is available, (see management first regarding what is available).

The facility was clean and adequate with a comfortable bedalthough I didn\'t realize before arrival that the front part of the house is reserved as a Bed & Breakfast, and the back part and an out-building comprise the hostel. In fact, my room was located in the building behind Braemar House, with the bathroom accessed only by going outside. Paula, from USA ~ 11th Oct 2011
