In appreciation of our special efforts in operative environment protection we have been awarded with the Tourism-Ecolabel by the city of Vienna. Sustainable resource management is one of our greatest concerns.
This hostel is perhaps in the best location, and certainly in the most beautiful! Hey, we have rooms with a view! Outdoor and indoor swimming pools (public bath) are within short walking distance and the 'Wienerwald' is just across the street. Mountain-Bike and Nordic-Walking trails start right from the front door!
The Palace Hostel Schlossherberge offers an awesome and fantastic view overlooking the city of Vienna.
We have 41 dorms each with 4 beds (2 bunkbeds)! All rooms are en-suite (with shower & WC) and equipped with wardrobes & lockers.
Facilities include tourist info, laundromat, bright breakfast room, breakfast in the garden during the summer months, free & secure parking in front of the house, free stuff for use (boccia, nordic walking sticks, boardgames, frisbees, soccerball, etc.)
There is a huge park in front of the house for sunbathing, picnic, relaxing, Yoga, T'ai-chi,...
A chill out room with cable TV, internet terminals, table tennis, tabletop football are at your disposal. We even have our own minigolf court!
Continental Breakfast ''All you can eat' is included in all rates. Our breakfast buffet offers beside a wide range of local organic products also numerous fair trade products.
Free city maps & public transport tickets are available at the reception. Our friendly, international staff with heaps of local knowledge of things 2 do in Vienna is always happy to help you!
No curfew owing to key cards. 24h access and check-in (please let us know should you plan to arrive after 22:00!).

Please be informed that the Palace Hostel has shortened reception-opening-hours until mid of March. You can reach us daily from 07:30 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. within these hours the Check-In is possible as usual. Should you arrive later than 08:00 p.m. please let us know in advance. In this case we will arrange a Late-Check-In.

Hostel in very nice location on the winery hilly, but pretty far from citycenter. Nice view over Vienna. If you book a twin private room for 25 euro a person, you will get a standard 4 bed room(2 bunk beds)for two person. Quite uncomfortable if you are a couple. Hostel is on the same property as the Palace Hotel, most ppl go to the second one by mistake. regards Lech, from Poland ~ 19th Sep 2012
