I have decided that Zacatecas has a lot to offer the international traveller.
As you know Zacatecas is an old historical city.It was here in Zacatecas that the turning point of the Mexican Revolution came after its fall to the legendary Pancho Villa.
One thing lacking though, was a decent hostel with all the added extras that you like to see.
So I took the plunge, and have just opened the doors.
Our premises is situated in the heart of the Historic Centre behind the cathedral. We are five minutes by taxi from the bus station or 15 minutes on the bus
route No 8.
Facilities:
-24 hour reception with English spoken
-Lounge area with TV and cable
-2 Fully contained self serve kitchens
-Free tea ,coffee and purified water
-Roof top patio with a superb view
-Security Lockers
-Public Telephone
-Information on local sights and tour bookings

The staff was lifeless. Upon arrival, the front desk employee blocked the doorway, so we had to squeeze our way through, just so he could check out one of the girls staying at the hostel. He later attempted to stare at my fiance´s chest and backside as she went up the stairs. We told the manager about this, and he simply changed the subject and didn´t care. The staff was not friendly. The hostel is okay for the price. The rooms are small as well as the bathroom. Also, be prepared to be cold at Adam, from USA ~ 21st Nov 2011
