This was a very good property, centrally located near the downtown area of Anchorage, although finding it posed to be a formidable task. Better directions or a graphic map would help, because the street system of Anchorage is horrendous to out of town strangers. Staff at the hostel were most pleasant and helpful. Beds were clean, and there also was a friendly social area for gathering. Access to Internet was excellent, and deeply appreciated by this traveler. I found the security very good, and parking of my car on the parking lot out front posed no problem. Some difficulty existed on getting access to the bathrooms, but that was attributed to the many folk staying at the hostel and with them all using the facilities. It is like living in someones home. The hosts are very friendly and there is a great atmosphere about the place. Although their views on football need a bit of work. Also best breakfast of any hostel i have stayed in.

Nice hosts, good location for groceries, bars etc... Would stay here again.
this hostel is not in downtown, but more convienent. 3~5 blocks to Mac,Burger King, Subway, 24Hours supermaket, bookstore, outdoor utility store. If you live in downtown, there is almost nothing except gift shop(only subway, no supermarket,Mac, Berger King.) The house is not so new, but kept clean well. the bus route 7,9 can take you to airport , downtown, diamond hall.
The hostel is super clean, and safe. It's walking distance to some really lovely places, and the staff is great! i really enjoyed my stay, thank you so much!
