The dinner and breakfast they provide was very delicious, homemade food. This hostel is a bit different than the rest, not your typical 24 hour front desk and touristy type. It is a bit hard to find, but so is everything in Venice. There was only two bathrooms, which sucked, but they are remodeling and trying to add more. It was a fine place to stay, but if you can find something else for cheaper you're probably better off.

Highly recommend this hostel, usual ameinties, but with a family atmosphere, free nightly dinners are excellent and creates a party atmosphere.

Had an absolute blast! The place feels very Italian and you cannot beat a free dinner. The staff also bought us alcohol and played drinking games with us. Unfortunately, there aren't any lockers or keys to your room.

Apparantly the kitchen is out of use for guests, although they let me when i asked. Staff were almost never in the hostel and nothing is locked, bags are kept either in the kitchen or in bedrooms. Otherwise excellent.
Simply the BEST hostel we stayed at on our journeys. The people were wonderful, the food divine, (free breakfast and dinner). Its a stones throw away from the train station, right at the top of shopping heaven, the Strada Nova. Its clean, its got lovely people, the owners and the residents and its just fantastic. Thank you Venice Fish

It was very confusing when we got there, we could never seem to find someone that worked there when we needed them. Nice place though, just confusing.
Absolutely THE place to stay! You can't go wrong with the free breakfast (fried eggs, toast) or the free dinner (always such good pasta) and its all made by this guy Mimo. He's the best. Its a small place--only 2 bathrooms, but once you get there you become part of the family. And if you go, ask Mimo to take you on his own version of a pub crawl, seeing as there maybe 3 bars total in Venice!
