It is a good place. Live there is convenient. There are all kinds of stores and restaurants as well as McDonald. It is about 8-10 minutes walk from the Green Line (B) subway leading to downtown. It will take about 20 minutes to take 20 minutes from the Harvard Ave Station to Downtown. It is clean, although not quite clean because we stay there with a mouse for five nights. The mouse obviously enjoyed our cookies:)

This was a great place to stay. A few friends and I stayed here for a week to go to a conference and we were really impressed with how nice the hostel was. I've been to several hostels and this is my top one so far - our 4 person room was spacious and came with sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, and tv. It was like a hotel at a much lower cost. We also really loved the location - the surrounding area was very eclectic and there was a wide variety of food and night time activities to explore.

We were not so happy with our stay. We came in our room and the thing was the scary puppet and one the walls were picturs of dead people. It was a miserable time. The bathrooms weren´t clean... I would never stay there again!!!

I was honestly disappointed. I am a really open minded person and like making the best of the situation but I was a bit uncomfortable staying here. All the rooms needed were a little colorful paint and sheets (and blankets) that seemed cleaned to at least to mask the fact that you can't tell whether the neighborhood is safe or not. It wasn't that bad since I ended up totally safe but I was a bit uncomfortable the whole time

The directions are not very helpful in finding the place. It was not very social or good for meeting people.

bed lamp didn't work; noise level: between 11-2 lots of loud noise, loud male voices and doors slamming....a bit scarey, actually.
