Customers service was good especially, Valerie the manager who was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and fresh towels everyday was a big plus.

This hostel was well run with 24 hour staff. Rooms were small but comfortable enough, lots of street noise at night. Hostel is kind of far away from everything, if you like to walk like I do, but was doable. Underground was convenient. There was a laundry right next door. Would stay here again.

Only one key per room, which can get frustrating when your roommates get in at 3AM, but at least there were only four people per room, which is the smallest dorm room I've found in my travels thus far. Very close to a major Metro station, but the staff isn't the friendliest, and there are no tours/events organized by the hostel.

This place is great if you need a well situated place to stay, and do not care about superfluous details like meeting people at your hostel. The staff graciously upgraded my room (without cost) after seeing how upset I was about damaged luggage at the airport, and without prompting, and were extremely polite. The double room was killer and cleaned daily by polite staff members. Water pressure in the shower was SUPERB, though, like most places, they were tiny. After having stayed in 6 hotels in Paris (2-3 stars), this was the best deal I've found without comprimising much.

Even if some things in the room didn't work properly and it was not very clean, the Absolute Hostel remains a good value. Staff was friendly and the cave where breakfast is served is really cute. I think that you get enough for your money. I would certainly come back.

rooms were small, but then again everything in paris is small. Staff were helpfull, and it is right by the Republique metro station so it is very convient.
