Really great location with lots of stores and restaurants near by (and a pretty good night club literally 100 feet away) and only about a 4 minute walk from the metro station. The staff seemed really nice, there was internet access, breakfast wasn't bad (croissant and juice), it was really clean and they even provided soap and shampoo. The only problem is there's only one key per room and the small room makes it hard not to wake up your roommates if you come home late. I'm a girl and I stayed here alone and it wasn't a problem at all, even walking home from the metro late at night. I would definitly recommend staying here.

Hostel was ok, kitchen facilities were terrible though: entrance only till 9u30 in the morning and staff was very rude to us when we got there right on time! Lots of noice in your room coming trough the walls, from the beds moving and heavy works going on in the hallway very early. Beds should be recplaced soon. Very small room and no communal place bigger than 4m on 4m.

the hotel was inconsistent with providing quality rooms. THe double rooms on the top floor were lovely, though it lacked a phone and one of the rooms did not have electric plugs that were working.

Very cold rooms, we were told that it is not allowed to heat the rooms from April onwards, so we were freezing!

For 20 Euro a night you can do A LOT worse. The bathrooms etc. are acceptably clean. Just don't expect new sheets every day. The only thing wrong was that their shower heads are not mounted. If you don't mind this, Absolute Paris is a Great place for the money.

ok...probably one of the best hostels I have stayed in for the price.....this is a definate yes for americans. great staff and very clean for france! lowest price for room and loctaion. free breakfast too

Although the rooms are small and a bit noisy, the fact that 'Republique' is so close with its many metro-lines going everywhere makes Absolute Paris a good choice for a weekend away.
