I had a lovely time staying here, the staff we so helpful & the general vibe around the hostel was a good one. I would definatly recommend this hostel to anyone!

a really nice place to stay in San Francisco
Bathrooms were well-kept and had quality toilets and showers. Beds were comfortable enough. You might want to bring your own pillow, though. Staff was super friendly and competent. Location is really nice -- near Union Square, Geary St. Theater, and Yerba Gardens.

Great location, friendly staff, comfy, clean rooms and a great kitchen area. The only possible downside is the fact that it is so laid back and chilled, some people seeking a party hostel may be dissapointed, but the free internet and breakfast should be enough to pursuade them.
dinners were good quality and well worth the five dollars, clean and comfortable bathrooms, common area was a bit quiet sometimes and there wasnt really anywhere for people to stay up and talk after 0pm so that was a negative

Terrible elevator, old and looking dangerous, not working properly. Put in Hotel Dakota and had to have breakfast in another place (Adelaide)! Would not recomend it to others. Issa.
