Adelaide Hostel was just great, what a fun place to stay, free breakfast was fantastic , if you are going to San Francisco this is the best place to stay ,Gerard the manager was yummy,so cool and collected even when very busy I am still sorry I did not have the nerve to ask him for a date,maybe Gerard will read this and ask me out on my next visit to San Francisco.

The place is very nice, it's in an alleyway but once you are inside it is very cozy. Our rooms where private and where located in a different building, the Dakota Hotel. It is not that pretty but we felt comfortable. It is clean, as long as you do not look under the bed. But if you want to stay in a well located place in San Francisco, this is an exellent option

I am struggling to get a refund for an overpayment taken by the Adelaide. Gerry has acknowledged that I was charged twice but now is refusing to answer e-mails or phone calls which I make in an attempt at finalising matters. Very frustrating and not likely to lead me to recommend the Adelaide to others. Alan Mayes

We got a private room. Pretty bare bones, but lots of character. Liked the neighborhood. Folks that worked there were really nice. Breakfast was amazing.

This is a really great hostel in a great location, the lounge and kitchen areas are great and the free breakfast is fantastic, really glad we stayed here, would definitely return

The best hostel I have ever stayed in , if I ever get back to San Francisco I will stay at the Adelaide for sure , the staff were so helpful with making our visit to san francisco so enjoyable.
