The Adelaide was a fantastic hostel best I HAVE EVER stayed in, with a great free breakfast, very good guest kitchen and free multimedia computers where I could download my digital camera photos and burn them on a CD what a service I will be back

The whole place is very authentic. It may seem like it's a bit daunting at first as you walk down the alleyway, but it's in the middle of SF, and once you get inside, you'll see how clean and nice it is. The staff was great and the whole experience was outstanding. I got a three day trolly pass and rode the trolly all weekend. The room was all I needed so was the bathroom/showers/etc. The free breakfast was also a great treat!! Thanks to everyone there!!

Very nice place to stay, close to downtown and easy access to all types of transportation. One of the only hostels we've been in that allowed us to book in, no matter what time it is, even at 10 in the morning...

I stayed at the Adelaide for about 9 days. That's a long time for any hostel but liked the place tremendously. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good location in SF. Not only did I feel safe in the neighborhood, but also inside the hostel, I felt my belongings were safe. Cleanliness wise, it was alright. There is some work to be done in that department. Overall, it's a great place. I would stay there again.

Adelaide hostel is great , best hostel I have ever stayed in great breakfast , the staff were also very helpful , anybody going to San Francisco would be making a mistake if they did not check out the adelaide , I sure enjoyed my stay.
