Great location to get around. Near to Union Square and Chinatown. Internet for free - you don't get this offer very often, believe me!!!

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed at! Really nice breakfast (although cereals would make it complete).
You need to update your home page and e-mail responses, though. For instance, towels are not free (as is stated in FAQ) and the promised discount for the shuttle service from the airport was not as large as stated in the (standard) e-mail from Gerard.

I had a great stay and would reccommend the Adelaide Hostel to other persons seeking a good place to stay in downtown san francisco , the free breakfast was very good and the Adelaide Kitchen was the best that I have ever seen in a hostel,
Also the free in room wifi was great .
Overall a great place to stay

It was so much more fun to stay here, than at a hotel, because of all the really amazing people I got to meet, from all over the world. It was a great experience and I will be doing it again.

I had a great stay at the Adelaide, although the pictures of the beds are a little misleading, since it shows single beds on the floor. Those are for the dorms. If you stay in a mixed room, it's bunk beds, which isn't horrible, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The staff is really nice and helpful, too. They'll lock your stuff up and make sure that you have any issues resolved. It took a while for the valet parking to get our car back to us, but it wasn't scratched or dented at all. Yeah, so I highly recommend this hostel. Plus, it's close to Union Square and Market Street and all the fun and exciting areas of San Francisco. If that's what you're looking for during your stay, I suggest you stay here!
