Hostel had a system of offering evening meals at a very cheap price. Whilst I personnaly did not make use of this, I thought it was a good idea.

The location was perfect. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. Good breakfast. My friend and I shared the room with two sisters, from Ireland, who were the best roommates every.

The Adelaide has a great location and most of the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms seem to be a really mixed bag. I spoke with a group who had a beautiful suite with private bath, old fashioned french doors, etc. Our room however was narrow with broken glass in the windows and a non-working sink. It looked out over an alley where workers banged around and shouted at each other until midnight. Then the garbage trucks started up at 6:00. There is a very nice dinner available at 8

Very very very very quiet hostel and not the place for a party but the staff were cool, helpful and good fun. Very nice facilities and would recommend to others! Also nice lounge with lots of comfy couches!!!

I've stayed at several hostels in the US and was very disappointed with some of them (I also stayed at several hostels in South Africa and these were generally amazing, so I had really good ones for comparison). When I got to Adelaide, I was very happy to see the hostel with the friendly staff, really clean bathrooms, great breakfasts and all that... I have nothing negative to say. I also stayed at the sister-hotel in a double room which I simply loved.
